Transfer of Earnings

1. Each designated airline shall have the right to engage in the sale of air transportation in the territory of the other Contracting Party directly and, at its discretion, through its agents. To the extent permitted by national laws, each designated airline shall have the right to sell transportation in the currency of that territory or in freely convertible currencies of other countries, and to the same extent any person shall be free to purchase such transportation in currencies accepted for sale by that airline. 2. Each Contracting Party grants to the designated airline of the other Contracting Party the right of free transfer, including normal commercial interest earned on such revenues while on deposit awaiting transfer, in accordance with the laws and regulations of the other Contracting Party, at the official rate of exchange of the excess of receipts over expenditure earned by that airline in its territory in connection with the carriage of passengers, mail and cargo, preferably whithin thirthy (30) days of application.
