**1.** The staff members of the Fund shall enjoy:
immunity from legal process of any kind with respect to words spoken or written, and all acts performed by them in their official capacity, it being understood that such immunity shall continue notwithstanding that the persons concerned may have ceased to be members of the staff of the Fund;
in any event, immunity shall not extend to a civil action by a third party for damage arising from an accident caused by a motor vehicle belonging to, driven by or operated on behalf of a staff member or in respect of a motor traffic offence involving such vehicle;
inviolability of all their official papers and documents;
immunity from inspection of official baggage
exemption from Netherlands income tax on the salaries and emoluments and indemnities paid to them by the Fund. In the event the Fund operates a system for the payment of pensions and annuities to its former personnel and the dependants this paragraph shall not apply to such pensions and annuities.
**2.** Moreover, staff members who do not have Netherlands nationality shall:
enjoy exemption with respect to themselves and members of their families forming part of their households from all measures restricting entry and alien registration, any visas which may be required shall be granted without charge and as promptly as possible;
be given, together with members of their families forming part of their households, the same repatriation facilities in time of international crisis as officials of comparable rank of diplomatic missions;
not require a work permit as regards their official functions with the Fund;
shall, in accordance with the regulations in force, have relief from import duties and taxes, except payments for services, in respect of their furniture and personal effects and the right on the termination of their function in the Netherlands to export with relief from duties and taxes their furniture and personal effects.
