1. Privileges and immunities are granted to IDLO Employees in the interest of IDLO and not for the personal benefit of the individuals themselves. The Director-General shall have the right and the duty to waive the immunity of any person mentioned in Articles 15, 16, and 17 in any case where, in his or her opinion, the immunity would impede the cause of justice and can be waived without prejudice to the Organization. The IDLO Assembly of Parties shall have the right to waive the immunity of the Director-General. 2. Consistent with its privileges and immunities, IDLO shall cooperate at all times with the appropriate authorities of the Host Country to facilitate the proper administration of justice and shall not abuse any of the privileges and immunities granted to it under this Agreement.
