1. The privileges, immunities and facilities provided for in Articles 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 of this Agreement are granted in the interests of the ICMP and not for the personal benefit of the persons themselves. The Director-General shall have the right and the duty to waive the immunity of any person mentioned in Articles 16, 17, 18 and 19 in any case where, in his or her opinion, the immunity would impede the cause of justice and can be waived without prejudice to the ICMP. The Board of Commissioners shall have the right to waive the immunity of the Director-General. 2. The waiver of privileges, immunities and facilities of members of the Board of Commissioners provided for in Article 15(1) of this Agreement, shall be regulated in the Rules of Procedure of the Conference of State Parties. 3. Consistent with its privileges and immunities, the ICMP shall cooperate at all times with the appropriate authorities of the host State to facilitate the proper administration of justice and shall not abuse any of the privileges and immunities granted to it under this Agreement.
