Deze tekst geldt sinds 31 mei 2016

1. The privileges, immunities and facilities provided for in Articles 17, 18 and 19, of this Agreement are granted in the interests of the JIM and not for the personal benefit of the individuals themselves. 2. The Secretary-General shall have the right and duty to waive the immunity granted under this Agreement of any person in any case where, in his opinion, the immunity would impede the course of justice and can be waived without prejudice to the interests of the JIM.
