1. The social security systems of the United Nations offer coverage comparable to the coverage under the legislation of the host State. Accordingly, officials of the Office to whom the aforementioned scheme applies shall be exempt from the social security provisions of the host State. Consequently, officials of the Office shall not be covered against the risks described in the social security provisions of the host State. 2. The provisions of paragraph 1 of this Article shall apply mutatis mutandis, to the members of the family forming part of the household of the persons referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article, unless they are employed in the Kingdom of the Netherlands by an employer other than the United Nations or receive Netherlands social security benefit.
