The JIM shall make provisions for appropriate modes of settlement of:
disputes arising out of contracts and other disputes of a private law character to which the JIM is a party; and
disputes involving any person referred to in this Agreement who, by reason of his or her official position or function in connection with the JIM, enjoys immunity, if such immunity has not been waived by the Secretary-General.
