Art. 8 Interim-verdrag tussen het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden en de Republiek Kosovo betreffende de vestiging van de Kosovo Relocated Specialist Judicial Institution in Nederland — Law and authority on the premises

1. The premises shall be under the control and authority of the Kosovo Relocated Specialist Judicial Institution, as provided in this Agreement. 2. Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, the laws and regulations of the Host State shall apply on the premises. 3. The Kosovo Relocated Specialist Judicial Institution may make regulations, operative within its premises, including on the conditions applicable to its staff, as are necessary for the carrying out of its functions. The Kosovo Relocated Specialist Judicial Institution shall promptly inform the competent authorities upon the adoption of such regulations. No laws or regulations of the Host State which are inconsistent with regulations of the Kosovo Relocated Specialist Judicial Institution under this paragraph shall, to the extent of such inconsistency, be applicable within the premises. 4. The Kosovo Relocated Specialist Judicial Institution may expel or exclude persons from the premises for violation of its regulations and shall inform the competent authorities, if possible, in advance of such measures. 5. Any dispute as to whether a regulation of the Kosovo Relocated Specialist Judicial Institution comes within the ambit of this Article or as to whether a law or regulation of the Host State is inconsistent with a regulation of the Kosovo Relocated Specialist Judicial Institution under this Article shall be settled promptly by the procedure set out in Article 36 of this Agreement. Pending such settlement, the regulation of the Kosovo Relocated Specialist Judicial Institution shall apply and the law or regulation of the Host State shall be inapplicable on the premises to the extent that the Kosovo Relocated Specialist Judicial Institution claims it to be inconsistent with its rule or regulation.
